Rick brings over three decades of experience in the dive industry, with a career that spans nearly every aspect of the business. He has been an avid diver since 1989 and a dive professional since 1991, making this his 34th year in the industry.

Starting as a dive shop associate, Rick quickly expanded into equipment servicing, earning certifications across 11 different brands. Over the years, he has held multiple management roles and brings more than a decade of full-time dive shop management experience to Space City Dive Center.

Rick holds the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating and is also certified through NAUI and CMAS, giving him a well-rounded perspective across training agencies. His diving experience includes destinations like the Florida Keys, the Bahamas, Texas, and the Dominican Republic, with many more still on his bucket list.

What sets Rick apart is not just his technical expertise, but his deep commitment to customer experience. His background includes working with brands like Lexus and Mazda, along with extensive retail management experience, all of which translate into exceptional service for divers at every level.

Outside of the dive industry, Rick has built a diverse professional career, including roles in federal government intelligence, network administration, and pension benefits analysis. He holds degrees in Biology and Law/Legal Studies and has been a Certified Mediator in the State of Texas.

With his depth of knowledge and dedication to both diving and customer service, Rick plays a key role in ensuring every diver at Space City Dive Center receives expert support and a great experience, both in and out of the water.
