The PADI Junior Divemaster program is designed for young divers ready to move beyond recreational training and begin developing leadership skills in a real dive environment. This course serves as a bridge between advanced recreational diving and future professional-level training.
Junior Divemaster is not a professional certification. Junior Divemasters may not supervise divers, lead dives, or conduct training. Instead, the program focuses on mentorship, professionalism, water skills development, and understanding how dive operations function under direct supervision.
At Space City Dive Center, Junior Divemaster candidates train alongside experienced dive professionals, gaining behind-the-scenes exposure to dive site operations, class logistics, and leadership fundamentals. The emphasis is on maturity, accountability, teamwork, and confidence both in and out of the water.
