Master Scuba Diver Trainer is a professional recognition earned by instructors who have demonstrated both teaching experience and a commitment to continuing education. MSDTs are instructors who not only certify divers, but guide them through advanced training and specialty pathways.
The MSDT program at Space City Dive Center is designed to help instructors move beyond entry-level teaching and develop a broader instructional skill set. Through specialty instructor training and real-world teaching experience, you’ll gain the tools needed to confidently teach a wide range of courses and support divers as they progress toward Master Scuba Diver and beyond.

Prerequisites
- PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (or qualifying equivalent)
- Five PADI Specialty Instructor ratings
- Active teaching status
- Minimum logged dives as required by PADI
- Completion of required medical documentation
