Becky
Becky is a Divemaster at Space City Dive Center who brings enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine love for diving to every class and dive. She discovered scuba after moving to Houston and looking for a new hobby that combined adventure with community. One Open Water course later, she was hooked.
With a passion for reef, wreck, and night diving, Becky’s favorite dive destination is Roatan, Honduras, especially the stunning wall dives at St. Mary’s Place. Her bucket-list adventure includes diving the Seaventures Dive Rig near Mabul Island in Malaysia.
What Becky enjoys most about working with students is witnessing that unforgettable moment when a diver takes their first breath underwater and realizes they’re calm, capable, and part of a whole new world. She loves being part of a close-knit dive community that feels like family and sharing the excitement of diving with others who are just as passionate about it as she is.
Outside of Space City Dive Center, Becky is a volunteer diver at Moody Gardens, where she helps care for marine life in the South Pacific exhibit, including sharks, stingrays, and a friendly pufferfish named Cletus. She also volunteers at Spring Lake at the Meadows Center in San Marcos, known for its crystal-clear, year-round 72-degree water.
When she’s not underwater, Becky can be found working toward her nursing degree, spending time with her son TJ, or relaxing at home with her two cats, Charlie and Piper.
