This hybrid course blends self-paced eLearning with instructor-led, hands-on practice to reinforce real-world readiness.

Participants complete the online portion first, covering how to recognize signs and symptoms of dive injuries such as decompression illness, barotrauma, marine life injuries, and environmental exposure. The in-person session focuses on applying first aid skills, managing injured divers, and coordinating an effective emergency response.

At Space City Dive Center, DAN Diving First Aid training is scenario-based and practical. The emphasis is on calm assessment, correct response, and teamwork, helping participants feel confident responding to emergencies at the dive site, on boats, or during travel.
