The Divemaster program at Space City Dive Center is designed for experienced divers who want to deepen their knowledge, refine their skills, and begin working alongside instructors in real-world training environments.

The DM Mission Briefing is your official entry point into the program. This enrollment secures your place in the Divemaster program and provides immediate access to PADI Divemaster eLearning so you can begin knowledge development at your own pace. From there, training progresses through skill refinement, leadership workshops, and practical experience assisting with courses and dive operations.

Our Instructors focus on comfort, safety, and real-world skills so you don’t just earn a professional rating, you build the confidence and capability required to supervise divers and support training activities.

Prerequisites

• PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying equivalent)
• Current CPR and First Aid training
• Minimum logged dive requirement (per PADI standards)
• Completion of required medical forms

Equipment Required

Divemaster candidates are expected to have their own complete set of scuba diving equipment suitable for professional-level training and regular diving. Having consistent, well-fitted gear is an important part of developing comfort, efficiency, and confidence in the water.

Rental equipment is available for candidates who need it during training. Space City Dive Center also offers exclusive discounts on gear purchases for enrolled professional candidates. Our team is happy to help you select equipment that fits your training goals and future professional plans.

Important Pricing Information

• The DM Mission Briefing price serves as a downpayment toward the full Divemaster program cost of $1,200. This initial payment secures your enrollment and provides acces to the PADI Divemaster eLearning.
• The reamainig balance is due as training progresses. PADI Divemaster application fees ($162) are not included and are paid directly to PADI.
