The PADI Dive Against Debris® specialty turns conservation into action. Divers learn how to safely remove marine debris while collecting standardized data that supports research, education, and policy aimed at protecting aquatic environments.
This course blends environmental awareness with practical diving skills. You’ll learn how to plan a debris dive, assess risks, work as a team, and document what you remove so your effort contributes to a global database. The emphasis is on safety, accuracy, and responsible interaction with the environment.

Equipment Requirements
- Space City Dive Center provides all major scuba equipment, including BCD, regulator, dive computer, exposure protection, tanks, and weights.
- Students are required to provide their own personal gear, including mask, snorkel, fins, and boots. Rental packages are available if needed.
