Discover Scuba Diving at Space City Dive Center

Discover Scuba Diving is your opportunity to experience scuba diving for the first time in a safe, supportive, and instructor-led environment. If you have ever wondered what it feels like to breathe underwater, this program is the perfect introduction. No prior experience or certification is required.

During you Discover Scuba Diving experience, one of our highly experienced dive professionals will guide you step by step through the basics of scuba equipment and essential underwater skills before you enter the water. You will learn how to breathe comfortably, communicate underwater, and move with confidence while exploring below the surface.

Prerequisites

The minimum age for Discover Scuba Diving is 10 years. For younger divers ages 8 to10, we offer our Bubblemaker program, designed specifically for kids.

What's Included

Everything you need for your Discover Scuba Diving experience is inlcuded. We provide your mask, snorkel, fins, buoyancy compensating device (BCD), regulators, tanks, weights, and wetsuit.

If you have your own maks, snorkel, and fins, you are welcome to use them after we ensure they are suitable for scuba diving.
